Neutral tones counterattack
Black, white, gray and beige are always popular, but this season they’re at the top of their game. Solid bright colors allow you to express a more energetic vibe, while neutral tones allow you to be more fluid. The calming effect of neutral colors may look boring to some, but to others they can mean a quiet and soothing atmosphere. Examples of neutral colors include beige, taupe, gray, cream, brown, black and white.
Black
Black tones can make your body look slim and firm, and they don’t take time to think about what to combine them with to stay relevant in any season. The easiest way to wear black is to emulate the rock star dress code example: a leather jacket with skinny jeans and a t-shirt. Once you get used to this combination, you can add other elements to your look, such as black sweatpants or a suede aviator jacket.
White
In an all-white look, it’s important to incorporate not only the texture of the fabric, but also the halftones – ivory or cream can be perfect for shading the skin and preventing it from looking faded. Try wearing white cotton pants with a cream polo shirt, a long-sleeved T-shirt or a thin pullover. It’s also important to pay attention to accessories. To visually downplay the overall effect of all-white, they should have texture and contrast – blue piping on the cuffs, a caramel belt, contrasting buttons or a pair of brown shoes. A great match.
Earth tones
If black or white are the most common in terms of density, earth tones are a well-deserved third in popularity. From moss to khaki, from sand to reddish brown, earth tones are probably more versatile. Thanks to their soft, slightly concentrated greens and oranges, they’re perfect for bows made up of multiple layers of clothing when it gets cold outside. Earth tones will warm up skin tones when summer tans fade. It works for almost any occasion, from the office to a party.
