Gucci’s New Salon in Los Angeles Brings Every Fashion Girl’s Fantasy to Life

Over the years, much of the old Hollywood glamour that was once synonymous with Los Angeles has disappeared. But with the help of the just-opened Gucci salon , the city is about to get a glamorous aesthetic feast. On Tuesday, the Florence-based luxury brand opened its first salon in Beverly Hills’ Melrose Place. The salon promises to be a destination for invited Gucci customers to indulge their creative and most luxurious taste in clothing. The brand says the “intimate and discreet” place will be as important as it once was among the Hollywood elite.

According to a press release, each Gucci salon after the Los Angeles location will be completely different from the previous one, with salon locations designed to match the surroundings. “[This] salon echoes Hollywood’s heritage and worldwide resonance, while echoing the decor and concept of the first LA Gucci boutique that opened on Rodeo Drive in 1968,” the press release states. Designed by Gucci’s longtime partner Gideon Ponte, the space combines the intimacy of home with an attention to detail, just as you would expect to see in a carefully manicured movie set, ready to be modified for future events and brand moments.
